Our thought is that through careful reflection and the employment of varied clinical techniques, our skilled clinicians can assist clients in achieving resolution of their goals. These client/therapist connections create an energy of mindfulness and awareness that can only grow and permeate our lives. We hope that awareness of these connections leads our clients to feel safe, empowered, and revived.
Austin Counseling Connection is an agency that prides itself as an Austin original. We are locally owned and have been working in the Central Texas Mental Health community for decades. Our mission is to help support and strengthen the individuals within a family system utilizing evidenced based methods which are trauma informed. We provide individual therapy for youths and adults, as well as couples, family therapy, and group therapy. Our treatment models are cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, behavioral modification, EMDR, Mindfulness, attachment oriented, and relational therapy.
The focus of the work done in therapy is based on each client’s unique goals. We believe that our clients are the best experts when it comes to their lives. We aim to encourage, empower, and embellish strengths when provided with the opportunity of assisting clients in honest self-appraisal as it relates to attaining personal goals.
